About

I am a New York City-based musician and private instructor. I teach guitar, piano, ukulele, bass, drums, vocals, songwriting, and music theory in a wide range of styles and genres. My students include young children and adults of all ages, ranging from absolute beginner to extremely advanced. Lessons take place in students’ homes throughout Manhattan or virtually over Zoom, and I offer a complimentary call Zoom prior to our first lesson to introduce myself and share my approach to teaching.

I am a knowledgeable and experienced professional who is passionate about sharing my love for music. I studied at the Eastman School of Music and received a B.A. with high honors in Music from the University of Rochester. I have over 20 years of teaching experience, both privately and through the National Guitar Workshop, TakeLessons, and Music on the Move.

My students have the opportunity to perform in my biannual fall and spring recitals, which allow the opportunity to showcase their progress and hard work for friends and family.
